Ask the Scoutmaster: How do elections work in a Scout-led troop? In Scouting America, youth leadership is real. Scouts elect their Senior Patrol Leader and Patrol Leaders, who plan meetings, lead patrols, and represent their peers. Adults don’t pick winners!
